In 1985 Sue began working in the medical field as a Major Medical claims processor at Capital Blue Cross. She then took a position at Seidle Memorial Hospital as their Blue Cross Coordinator. After being a stay-at-home mother, she worked at the Bermudian Springs School District as their Guidance Secretary for five years.
Sue and her husband moved to Pittsburgh where she went to school and to become a Certified Medical Coder. She then went to work at UPMC as a coder in the Surgical Pathology department. They moved back to the Dillsburg area and Sue went to work for the Diakon SPIN program as their Administrative Assistant where she handled the day-to-day business of the program
In her spare time, Sue enjoys spending time at her cabin in Tioga County, going hiking with her husband and their three dogs.
